-- The Engineering Systems Coordinator is the focal point for all matters related to CAD and Collaboration Systems on a Parsons project.
-- Provide dedicated support on a Parsons Engineering Design Project that needs to collaborate across multiple offices located in the eastern United States.
-- The coordinator works closely with project management (the engineering manager and/or project manager) to evaluate project requirements and then establish, maintain and enforce project CAD standards and processes.
-- The coordinator typically serves as the point of contact with Parsons’ client, subcontractors and construction contractor regarding all matters pertaining to CAD.
-- Works closely with the client’s CAD manager to clearly define and understand their CAD requirements and then integrates those requirements into the project standards.
-- Facilitate interdiscipline coordination and collaboration.
-- Assist the project CAD Manager in establishing, maintaining and enforcing CAD Standards for the project, setup and maintain the project’s collaborative environment and serve as the go-to person for all Information Systems related initiatives and issues.
-- Participate in the setup and support of a field site office located in South DeKalb county.
-- This position reports functionally to the Project CAD Manager and operationally to the Project Manager.
-- Responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting engineering software applications, solving operational and collaboration issues, and supporting various technical software licensing components. |
| Habilidades: |
-- Understanding of the concepts and theories of CAD usage and application, such as CAD file naming, level/layer structures, scale factors, drawing composition, 2D modeling, 3D modeling, plotting, cross-office collaboration as well as the AEC/EPC business in general.
-- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
-- Strong customer service skills.
