SUMMARY: Supports the recruitment process and maintains employee records; performs various clerical aspects of employment, employee benefits, payroll, and training. Supports the Human Resources director in administering various Human Resources programs and processes.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
•Tracks all requisitions on department spreadsheet and posts all jobs to the Web Site and other internet sites as directed by Employment Coordinator.
•Creates and maintains the individual personnel files for all active and inactive employees ensuring all steps on the checklists are complete before filing.
•Process background check, drug screening, employment verification and credit checks as appropriate for final candidates.
•Coordinate with Fleet in regards to MVR screening and vehicle requests.
•Request tools, uniforms, cell phones, radios, computer/laptops, emails, landlines (phones), FOB key request, and other requirements as needed accordingly for new hires. Distribute and record distribution of software/hardware equipment and FOB keys.
•Maintain property log book as it relates to HR.
•Prepare hire packages ensuring they contain all current and required documents.
•Prepare other employment packages and ensure that all locations/branches have readily available packages.
•Coordinate with Payroll and Controller in processing credit cards.
•Complete biweekly payroll callback.
•Prepare and mail decline letters to applicants.
•Post department attendance.
•Maintain a filing system for all resumes and for all closed requisitions. Maintain future interest files.
•Notify IT, Fleet Coordinator of all new hires and transfers.
•Complete special department projects, which may include creating department forms, updating policies.
•Maintain Organizational charts for the Company.
•Maintain department calendar.
•Maintain all department filing.
•Maintain department supplies.
•Distribute department mail.
•Maintain names on Burbank office mail boxes.
•Supports the HR Group as directed.
•Update employee birthday bulletin.
•Complete Misc projects as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum of 2 years related Human Resources experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet programs.
Other Skills Or Abilities:
Must possess excellent customer service skills.
