Be a volunteer for 9 months and travel by bus through Central America. You can work with Child Aid and Community Development projects, Health and Sanitation and Education in the rural area of Belize with poor families
The elements of the program is
- 2 months of preparation period in St. Vincent & Grenadines where you are study spanish language and prepare for your travel period, make researches about the countries and prepare to work in the projects
- 1 month bus travel through Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador and Belize, you will visit families, and do researches in the countries about the current situation and the life of the people, poor and rich
- 4 months of work in a Child Aid and Community Development projects in Belize, working together with the locals on a daily basis
- 2 months of evaluation and conclusion period in St. Vincent & Grenadines where you are preparing a presentation, photo or film exhibition about the things you learnt and experienced, to educate the future volunteers
The program will start in July 2009 and November 2009.
No Salary. Boarding Expences.
