Duties include but are not limited to:
Reviews the Contractor’s Quality Plan (QP) and provide any recommendations to the site Project Manager (PM). Then ensure contractor compliance with the QP. Develop systems for approving the payment certificates (Milestones, Cost to completion and Quality testing regime) and obtain agreement of Contractor.
Review any design modifications and accept or reject accordingly, with written respond to contractors.
Monitor the Contractor’s Programme and progress and report any program delays to the PM or the project team. Perform contract administrative services (document management, as-built drawings, contractual correspondence, etc.)
Undertake any QA/QC checks and forms as required for the construction site.
Assist the office design team in assessing design works constructability, and address any site or construction constraints that may affect the design parameters
Review any inspection reports of the newly installed infrastructure networks.
Draft variation orders and pass them to the Project Manager as soon as possible.
Maintain a detailed history of the construction works and of significant happenings on the site, and submit regular periodic progress reports to the Site Project Manager (PM).
Attend all site meetings related to the pipe installations and prepare written minutes for distribution.
Review all contractor correspondence and prepare responses as necessary.
Study contractor’s claims and prepare a draft claim report and submit to the PM for approval.
Qualification Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering.15-20 years of experience with Sewerage, Pipelines, pumping stations, waste water system is a must.
