A leading 5 Star deluxe International Hotel Chain is looking for an excellent and enthusiastic Director of Sales and Marketing to join their team in China.
This position is responsible for two different properties, both opening in 2009. One exclusive 5* deluxe Hotel (more than 600 rooms) and the second Hotel, a 5* property with more than 1200 rooms.
The role requires excellent knowledge and experience in Mice Market and dealing with Travel Agents, Wholesalers and third party Trade partners.
Main duties & tasks:
Manage and Support the pre Opening strategies and activities through the lead in phases to opening the hotel successfully.
Recruit train and develop an effective Pre-opening team of Marketing and Sales professionals.
Establish the brand.
Establish and develop proprietary policies and procedures to assist and distinguish the Properties.
Establish and manage the required strategies to achieve agreed Financial and Non Financial targets.
Communicate and interact effectively with partners and clients in Hong Kong, China and North American markets.
Lead a team of 60 employees
The right candidate has
a minimum of 3 years experience in a large property, prior experience of having worked in a pre-opening project of a Five-star deluxe hotel, good communicator, facilitator and enumerative skills. Strategic in outlook, established ability to establish and lead a Team successfully, self starter and motivator.

Working knowledge of Hong Kong and China markets is a must.
