Thank you for your interest in the TEFL training position with our TEFL Institute in Delhi, India and Kathmandu, Nepal. You will teach two months in India and then two months in Delhi.
Job Description
You will train your students to become professional English teachers who will others to speak, read, and write in the "American" form of English. The students in your class will be expats from the USA, Canada, UK or other countries seeking to live and teach English in India usually with a missionary program or volunteer organization. Or, they may be Indians who would like to go teach English in China or other Asian countries.
You will teach about 30 to 40 hours each day plus spend a few hours on planning for the next day. The course requires students complete nearly 100 hours of course work training plus 50 hours of practicum training.
We will provide you with curriculum, materials, and training to get you started.
Your host will be the School Director. He will arrange housing for you in the form of a homestay. Your meals will be provided to you by the family. You will receive $500 USD per month stipend. Considering the annual median income for a Indian family of four is $400 USD. Your monthly pay is considerable for that country.
Your pay will be wired to your bank account or through PayPal within 14 days after you complete your course. You are responsible for any bank wire fees from your bank. TEFL Institute is responsible for any fees from our bank.
You are responsible for your airfare. You are expected to have a valid passport for the duration of your stay.
This is a six month contract which may be extended to a full year.

We require a well trained instructor who is:
- Native English Speaker
- Master's level degree is highly preferred but not required
- International experience of 3 or more years teach English or the equivalent
- TEFL/CELTA Certification from our list of approved TEFL providers
- Ability to live and work in India for up to six months
