Responsibilities:
• Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
• Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, or talks with customers on sales floor or by phone.
• Product sales growth in assigned area.
• Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
• Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
• Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
• Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
• Works with inside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.
• Tracks stock levels.
• Coordinates customer training.
• Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
• Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
• Distributor management and sales growth in assigned territory.
• Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
• Attends trade shows.
• Assist other employees in the accomplishment of their assigned responsibility, as requested.

| Habilidades: |
Requirements/qualifications:
Education/Experience: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or two (2) year Technical School Degree with equivalent years of technical or military experience.
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of demonstrated application solutions sales experience with OEM and End User customers.
Sales experience with some or all of the following products:
O Sensors (optical, proximity, laser measurement)
O Control Networks (Devicenet, Profibus, Ethernet)
O Motion Control
O Machine Vision Systems
O Rfid
O Plc/hmi hardware, software and interfaces
Communication Skills: Ability to effectively present information and respond to technical questions from groups of manager, clients, and customers.
Math Skills: Ability to perform and understand necessary math, statistical and functions processes to perform the job requirements.
Other: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Solid familiarity with computers and common software (Lotus Notes, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
