Primary Objective
To manage roaming operations for the Digicel group in the South Pacific. Meet revenue and margin objectives for group roaming. Handle the negotiations of Preferred Roaming Agreements between Digicel and prospective Roaming Partners. To bring-up international roaming in new markets including assist in hiring, training, and implementing the roaming processes. To ensure proper/timely implementation of roaming products across all Digicel markets.
Responsibilities
Report on and meet revenue and margin objectives. Track opex vs budget.
To manage the roaming implementation programme for the Digicel South Pacific group.
Ensure proper roaming documentation and drive roaming agreements with roaming partners.
Act as Internal & External point of contact on Roaming related enquires for Digicel.
To manage the roaming reporting processes.
To ensure the Technical and IT/Billing Teams meet their objectives.
Assist finance and fraud in the reconciliation and collection of revenue.
To enhance the development of the roaming services by working with other areas for the introduction of new roaming products.
Represent Digicel at Industry related forums
To perform duties of Member Information Manager (MIM) on behalf of the company in relation to GSM Association (ie. Provide access for users, update website).
Experience Required
Good understanding of roaming, billing and technical requirements for wireless networks
Ability to interact with cross functional teams
PC literacy
Knowledge of the working of the GSM Association
