The Intelligence and Information Solutions Business Unit (IISBU) currently has an opening for a Pashto/Dari Linguist - multiple locations.
The Pashto/Dari Linguist will prioritize, gist and summarize, transcribe and interpret foreign language oral and written products, as well as translate said products into English, this includes hardcopy, electronic, and multi-media material. The linguist will conduct accurate, verbatim transcriptions and translations of audio language material and documents in hard copy and electronic formats in a manner that maintains the integrity and meaning of the material. The Pashto/Dari linguist team will produce written reports as well as provide gists (summarization of key points), detailed summaries, and transcripts of the material. Pashto Linguist must have the capability to quickly scan and process a large amount of material and prioritize the material based on customer defined needs. |
| Habilidades: |
TS/SCI CI or full scope poly. Eligibility to obtain a full scope a must. Prior Pashto/Dari Linguist translation, transcription or interpretation experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and seven to nine years of relevant experience specific language.
