Collaborate with the VP/GM to develop strategy for increasing revenues at existing customers. Aggressively execute on that strategy.
Interface with existing customers to solidify mutual expectations of performance and growth.
Open business development dialogs with strategic customers. Particular interest is to build a few large strategic accounts.
Lead and oversee new product introduction and manufacturability planning for new customer initiatives.
Determine quality and engineering talent required to grow business, and make recommendations.
Bring an entrepreneurial approach to all initiatives
Identify opportunities that leverage all products: FPC, FFC, PTF and sub-assemblies.
Be willing to push the envelope should a large project have long term benefit to the company. Even if outside of current company capabilities, it is expected that this person will have the business acumen to determine the viability of initiatives and take the lead on execution.
Provide leadership, mentoring, and professional development to staff. Set market/customer and individual goals and objectives with each direct report and define incentive plans, when applicable.
Manage financial fitness of major relationships, including contributions to profits and meeting budget requirements. Be financially dependable.
Identify and attend tradeshows and other business functions to keep abreast of developments in the marketplace, to find potential new business, and to market and network the company name and solutions.
This requires an individual proven at creating opportunities that drive revenue growth within these markets. A knowledge base of the computer, printer, electronic identification, hand held device, point-of-sales, display and/or peripheral market is required. Experience selling components and subassemblies on an OEM/Custom Manufacturing (CM) basis and/or with custom design sales is highly desirable. Experience with electronic product/component design and manufacture and a general knowledge of operations are preferred. Previous experience with a manufacturing operation in China is highly desirable. Proven relationships with key players and executives in this space are critical. Individual will bring a minimum of 10-15 years progressive sales management experience and a demonstrated record of sales growth. |
