The Transtar Foreign Languages School (part of Transtar Translation & Consulting Co., Ltd) offers an exciting opportunity to teach for teaching and traveling in one of the most exciting cities in China.
Our school provides an excellent level of service within the company and to surrounding well respected schools and businesses within Chaozhou City. We provide International teachers to a number of reputable establishments. We are expanding at a rapid pace, hence our need for highly qualified and motivated individuals.
1 or 2 English teachers available by the end of August
Teachers required for primary school students, grade 1 & 2 higher middle school students, college students and some business classes.
Native English speakers are welcome to apply, we may not reply to or consider any other applications. The reason for this is that our teaching emphasizes focus on phonetics and pronunciation skills.
We would also prefer teachers between the ages of 25 and 50 who are either a couple or friends traveling together, although we will consider single applications.
Qualification
Bachelor degree preferably in a related subject, and relevant teaching certificate (P.G.S.E., T.E.S.O.L., T.E.F.L.). Have the bachelor\`s degree will consider first. Copies will be accepted at the preliminary stages of email applications.
You should be self-motivated, patient, willing to learn as well as teach, have a good sense of humour and be able to make the classes a fun and exciting as well as being an informative learning environment. Above all, you need to have the confidence, charisma and energy to teach classes of up to 60 students.
no more than 22 periods per week, each period will be no more than 45 minutes.
You will be required to teach regular classes and your schedule will be fixed. This give you the chance to become familiar with the students individually and their requirements. The classes are fun and the students are always very willing.
You aren\`t just a foreign face! Many other schools and training centers are willing to use foreigners as a puppet. We are not one of them!
Benefit & Salary
RMB4500.00-RMB5500.00 depending on teaching experience
Fully furnished modern apartment with A/C, T.V
Telephone and Broadband Internet access if required (paid by teacher)
Fully legal and legitimate visa and residence permit
Contract period: 10 months
Ticket bonus: RMB5000.00 at the satisfactory completion of the contract
About Chaozhou City
The City is very well known for its food, there are many restaurants and snacks are available 24 hours a day. There is a good array of nightlife, and karaoke bars are abundant, KTV signs are becoming a familiar sight all over China!
Chaozhou is swamped in historic temples and relics from the Qing dynasty, there are monasteries (the oldest in Guangdong), parks, a famous lake, hot springs and mountains within easy access. It is also famous for its beautiful ceramics and porcelain manufacture and traditional embroidery.
Chaozhou is a respectively small city in comparison with its neighbours. The nearest large City (30km) is Shantou which is by the sea. Chaozhou is a 5 hour bus journey from Hongkong, and only 4 hours from Guangzhou. It\`s an ideal location if you wish to explore the historic and beautiful Guangdong Province.
There is also an airport nearby with National and International flights. Guangdong Province also has sub-tropical climate which means temperatures of up to 38C in the Summer months (May to October) and lows of 14C in the cool season (November to March). If this is your first visit to China or you are accustomed to the traditions and culture you will enjoy your stay in Chaozhou City.
How to get to Chaozhou City
If you come to Chaozhou via Guangzhou, you can take a train at Guangzhou Eastern Railway Station or take a through bus at Tianhe Passenger Transport Bus Station or at Guangdong General Passenger Transport Bus Station.
If you come to Chaozhou via Shantou, you can take a coach or a taxi at the airport. It takes you 35 minutes around to Chaozhou.
If you come to Chaozhou via Hongkong or Shenzhen, you can take a train at Shenzhen Railway Station or take a through bus at Luohu General Bus Station to Chaozhou.
