Pipe Stress Engineers
Job Description:
Analyzing pipe stress using Autopipe and Caesar II software.
Determine pipe support locations, types of support and support design
Perform technical bid evaluations for piping and valves
Able to perform analysis of piping systems by modeling them on the various stress analysis computer programs.
Job Requirements:
BS in Mechanical Engineering
Related experience of FEED projects within the oil, gas, petrochemical industries
Extensive knowledge of pressure systems including vessels, piping Codes (B31.1, B31.3, B31.4 and B31.8
Candidates will need the ability to work effectively as part of a multicultural: multi-disciplinary team working on major oil & gas offshore platform projects.
Candidates should have relevant project experience in offshore platforms; pipelines, petrochemical or refineries, must be conversant with offshore codes and standards.
Must be fluent in English both spoken and written: computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite.
All candidates will need to demonstrate previous project team experience; be able to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team on major oil & gas projects. |
