Job Descriptions
• Provides holistic fact-based decision support to HAAD Head of Strategy & senior management
• Develops an integrated health information strategy for defining, collecting, monitoring, analysing/mining and disseminating all decision-relevant health data and statistics from the public and private sector
• Builds the Health Statistics organisation, by recruiting the team and coaching staff, developing processes and policies, and specifying and procuring the IT systems to build the function
• Ensures all existing data collections are reviewed and converted into an analysis-friendly form; Defines and leads implementation of self-sustaining data sets
• Builds analytical capability of HAAD organisation and develops key relationships with external stakeholders
Education:
Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline
Degree in a biomedical field
Experience:
Deep insights into the mechanics of health systems and the interdependencies of stakeholders
Deep analytical and modelling expertise
CEO-level health systems consulting experience
Profound experience in engaging people in the field
Sound grasp of policies and regulations governing healthcare provision in AD
Language:
Fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic is an added advatage.
