Position Duties
• Assure implementation of highest standards of Safety and Quality through implementation of written safety and quality plans for the project. This is the Project Managers principal responsibility.
• Establish and maintain project design and construction management oversight including schedule, cost control, and project information system to insure successful project completion. Client minimum expectation is for safe project implementation on budget and on schedule.
• Prepare periodic reports that effectively demonstrate and provide information to Senior Management that assigned project(s) are being managed for a successful outcome.
• Organize and lead a project management team to manage EPC or Lump Sum contractors for a major capital project.
• Follow corporate standards, processes and procedures for design, selection, installation, start-up, testing, start-up, commissioning, and turnover of power plant generation, and equipment, as required in the management and oversight of the assigned project.
• Assure compliance with project permits and adherence by the Contractor to all applicable federal and local regulations.

| Habilidades: |
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related science and 10 plus years of experience including operational and management experience in engineering and construction in the utility business. At least 5 of those years involve working on a construction site
• Knowledge of the type of technology being developed for an assigned project site.
• Ability to set direction, provide effective leadership, while working within an environment of professional, technical, and construction management personnel.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and technical excellence and management skills.
• Strong planning and budget development and tracking skills.
• Excellent communication and personnel motivation skills. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and provide for a professional approach in dealing with all members of the project.
• Ability to address multiple activities simultaneously and be in control and in charge of the project.
• Ability to address issues with the owner, EPC contractor and Owner’s Engineer, as applicable, in an effective manner to secure cooperation, buy-in and change in direction to insure the successful outcome of the project.
• Knowledgeable of scheduling and project management processes and techniques, and implementation skills to establish project management organizations in the execution of major capital construction programs.
• Must be able and willing to locate at the construction site to adequately perform these duties.
