Job description
You will be part of a team of lawyers and documentation managers who are responsible for preparing, assessing and negotiating standard documentation for financial markets transactions. This documentation includes, but is not limited to ISDA,CSA, GMRA, ISMA and GMSLA agreements for derivatives, repo’,s as well as stock borrowing and lending transactions and also comprises other contracts such as EMA, IDNA, FOP, RFD, give-up agreements, novations) and or foreign document types (e.G. Rahmenvertrag, FBF).
Responsibilities
As a Senior Documentation Manager you will be leading negotiations on complex transactions which bear high visibility for the firm and assist documentation managers and junior team members with Master agreements negotiations. Within this team you take care of adequate progress control of negotiations and compliance with the institutions policies relating to standard documentation.
The job also calls for regular alignment with the Front Office within the context of execution timelines, with Risk Management about the conditions and provisions to be included in the standard documentation, intended in particular to have a mitigating effect on for instance structure and credit risk. In addition, there will be frequent alignment with derivatives specialists and lawyers from the various labels and units both in the Netherlands and abroad, for which the team prepares the documentation.
Organisational context
Financial Markets (FM) is part of the Wholesale Banking Division of this institution. FM provides a wide range of products to the institution`s corporate and institutional customers as well as to other internal labels and units, including the retail network.
Major products are: corporate and government debt, credit & equity derivatives, treasury products (incl. REPOs and issuance of CP/CD/EMTN), interest rate derivatives, foreign exchange, structured products and securities financing.

| Habilidades: |
Knowledge and capabilities
• A university degree in Law;
• Relevant work experience in the field of negotiating the above-mentioned standard documentation;
• Sound knowledge of Financial Markets products;
