Chief Resident Engineer – Jeddah – International Consultancy
WRS’s client is a world leading Design, Engineering, and Project Management Consulting Firm with offices World Wide.Due to increased expansion within the organization, they currently have a requirement for a Chief ResidentEngineer, for a prestigious development in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Chief ResidentEngineer Key Duties:
Lead, Direct and monitor the performance of resident engineers and all support staff
Advise and assist the contractor on construction procedures and contractual matters
Monitor the submittal review and prepare responses to the contractors
Provide quality assurance in accordance with contract documents
Oversee safety procedures by the contractor
Attend weekly and monthly progress meetings, review contractors progress
Prepare and direct all site directions and instructions
Review the contractor’s change order proposals. Prepare recommendations to the CM. Assist in negotiations with the contractor regarding the value of claims or changes in schedule
Assist in the final inspection of the work
Assist in the completion of handover |
| Habilidades: |
The successful Chief ResidentEngineer will have the following:
BSc in Civil Engineering, BArch or degree in a related construction discipline
Minimum 3 years experience at a similar level in large scale construction projects, airport experience would be a distinct advantage
Minimum of 15 years experience of experience in working within a consultancy / client faced firm
