Project Description
Delivery Manager - Brazil Deployment
Start Date: 1st week of Jan.
Based on Streamline and the associated systems project GSAP, this project will align business processes in the Hydrocarbon Management and Sale to Business Customer as they relate to distribution. A GSAP step out solution in the distribution business area based on the use of a packaged solution Central Business System from Control Systems Incorporated of Lenexa, Kansas.
Specifically Global IceBox will be the interface layer between GSAP and Terminal Automation Systems (TAS), which will be a global solution which supports Client`s and associated 3rd parties` Distribution terminal processes, consistent with StBC, HM and Master Reference Data Management in GSAP.
Roles and Responsibilities:
This role will be specifically charged with developing a plan for and the delivery of the global icebox solution in association with the GSAP version 2.3 rollout to Brazil. The product development function will be managed through a Global team based in London and Houston, and the package supplier CSI in Kansas, US.
The delivery manager will be responsible for:
1) Managing Brazil-based resources involved in the testing and deployment of the icebox solution, including coordination of activities with the central GIB team, the Brazil and central GSAP deployment teams and local TAS team
2) Orchestrating activities in support of deployment, including but not limited to data cleansing and conversion, testing, user training, and transition of support activities as they relate to the Brazil deployment Working with programme management to plan, control, and report project activities and milestones.
General responsibilities include:
(1) Completing tasks and milestones as scheduled
(2) Keep costs within budget
(3) Meet quality requirements for all deliverables
(4) Development and execution of plans in support of Global Icebox Programme
(5) Manage local project risks and issues through: Identifying risks and issues, assist in the development of risk mitigation plans, and resolving issues in a timely manner or escalating issues when appropriate Over-see the deployment phases of GIB project ensuring delivery of an integrated solution to the targeted customers
o validate the scope and the initial localization requirements
o review customization for local implementation needs and requirements o understand and clarify functional specifications
o manage local testing of processes
o support integration testing, user acceptance testing and implementation cutover Provide direction for a virtual team belonging to other organizations of staff working on activities associated with the implementation Ensure strong integration/communication between the build team, technical resources, and business process implementation team Manage implementation issues to successful resolution as appropriate Assign, coordinate, and prioritize the deliverables across build and deploy team members In concert with a business assigned Business lead, communicate and provide the day-to-day direction of the local implementation team Plan, conduct and participate in planning and issue resolution sessions as applicable Provide input to the deployment strategy Work closely with other team resources to ensure seamless integration and delivery Coordinate technical deployment and prioritization with the technical leads within the Icebox team and the production support organization Support change management activities and communications Monitor progress and quality of the team deliverablesResolve and/or escalate issues in a timely manner Communicate team`s progress and status to the Global Icebox Deployment Manager and others as GIB Programme manager directs. |
