We are currently hiring Pashto Translators to provide translation services in Afghanistan with the US military. I listed the details of the position below and salary for a first year agreement is $210,000/yr for US Citizens (plus full health care package, 401k, insurance). We also pay and assist you in receiving your US security clearance which is a very valuable addition to your resume in seeking secure government positions with Homeland Security and Department of Defense.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen able to speak Pashto and English (Dari preferred, but not required)
- Must be willing to obtain a US Security clearance
- Must be willing to travel overseas to Afghanistan
Duties Include:
- Provide general language translation for US Military personnel and citizens of Afghanistan to aide in rebuilding efforts.
- Assist troops on trips into local communities, schools, and homes to provide culture support.
- Interpret spoken interviews, meetings and conferences.
