Position Purpose
Head of Risk will be focused on bad debt portfolio valuation and giving assistance in purchasing it. The professional will be also focused on restructuring of bad portfolio as well as on debt collection processes/procedures implementation using internal resources/services which are subject to be established and developed. The professional will be responsible for structuring and planning the overall process flow of the collection/debt recovery area as well as develop the monitoring tools.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage bad debt portfolio valuation process and assistance in purchasing bad debt portfolio
• Debt collection and restructuring of bad debt portfolio
• Lead a team of collectors and supervisors with appropriate training, collectors profile, monitoring and KPIs for the area and individual level
• Keep the debt recovery activities cost effective
• Lead the collection project and area planning
• Drive the debt recovery strategies development and refinement
• Manage the debt recovery process (internal, external agencies and legal firms)
• Deploy of IT infrastructure for debt recovery
• Develop and implement a monitoring system for agencies and legal activities
• Drive the cooperation with legal, security and credit recovery partners
Job Holder Profile
A) Education: Degree in Business, Finance, Maths (master degree desired)
B) Experience: more than three year experience in debt recovery/collection in retail banking on top positions with international banks. The professional should have experience in risk modelling areas specifically in scoring and portfolio management. Experience with development of procedures. Knowledge in data base structure and analytical tools
C) Specific Knowledge: - knowledge of Experian Hunter and Fair Isaac Capstone
D) Languages: Fluent in English and Russia
