Sales Director
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Drive predictable and profitable growth in the region by exceeding sales quotas and key performance
indicators
- Create and maintain relationships with customers at all levels but focusing on decision makers,
political influencers and senior level executives within the organization.
- Coordinate all engagement and communication with the account including ownership of all proposals,
demonstrations and tenders to the customer.
- Fully understand and demonstrate understanding of customer business challenges, internal political
environment, market trends, competition and partners that may affect the customers business and
decision making
- Develop custom engagement strategies and apply these to progress standard (‘out of the box’) and
non-standard (projects including services) opportunities
- Develop a substantial sales pipeline of at least x3 quota for the fiscal year
- Meet or exceed committed numbers and annual quota
- Achieve target levels for customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Develop and utilize internal and external relationships in order to deliver profitable business
- Develop and maintain key working relationships with internal functions, ensuring open communication
and timely requests for information and / or support
- Provide opportunity information to enable commercial prioritization of roadmap modifications and
resource requests.
- With Senior Managers review revenue progress, pipeline, opportunities, blockers and next steps
- Create and regularly maintain deal plans for focus deals that clearly articulate what we are selling and
our value proposition.
- Commit to being an active member of the team and to ongoing professional development
- Keep up to date with technological and market developments in the industry
- Attend training and actively seek to enhance understanding of our client’s products and value
proposition
- Attend marketing events, team meetings, kick-off meetings and functions as required
- Adhere to all our client’s processes and policies and maintain customer confidentiality
- -Ensure our client’s brand and corporate values are evident to the customer at all times
- -Understand and adhere to the client’s vision and values
The role is full time and will require regular travel.

| Habilidades: |
Qualifications:
- Domain-Knowledge of the major operators within territory particularly the large / tier 1 operators, the
challenges they face, their strategies and competition.
- Technical-Knowledge and experience of selling enterprise software applications and the radio access
network domain including RF planning/design, RF optimization, our client’s product and solutions.
- Experience-Senior level experience as part of an organization in the telecommunications enterprise
solutions market. Past technical experience preferred.
- Proposals-General understanding of project bids including resource estimation, risk analysis, P&L
structure and qualification criteria to assess business potential.
- Contracts-Solid knowledge of different contract types (e.g. fixed price, time and materials). Ability to
discuss contract terms and conditions with customers and negotiate positive commercial terms based
on articulation of our value proposition.
