Responsibility: You will join the region’s market leader as a Senior Roads/ Highways Engineer where you will be responsible for all facets of design for infrastructure projects assigned to you, with the highest of standards in regard to customer service and quality.
The principle activities for this role are:
• Duties will cover all aspects of design including mentoring of junior staff.
• Ensuring that the designs under your control accurately represent the client’s requirements.
• Making and implementing decisions relating to the design whilst comply with all legislation, regulations, company and site procedures or instructions as documented in the Quality Assurance system.
• Ensuring that designs and reports are produced in sufficient time to be checked in accordance with the quality management system.
• Working as part of a team in the production of designs and ensuring that there are no discrepancies between the design of others and your design.
Qualification: To be considered candidates will need to satisfy the following selection criteria:
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited University.
• Significant experience using CADD tools for the design of major roads and highways.
• Familiarity in use of PC’s and a range of software, including MX, Civil 3D, Autocadd.
• We prefer that you have experience with the following: transport planning, traffic analysis, traffic signal design, design of water mains and design of sewerage systems.
