The Service Engineer is working in 3 - shifts and has to work an a rotating condition in a fault repair service during the week. Initially, the work is of a corrective category, but also allowed to be preventive.
Description of work
Locate faults
By orders of the Manager or Team Leader, or received directly (only through ERP system) can detect the cause of the disturbance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic field of production.
Troubleshooting
On the basis of oral presentation of Operator, Supervisor, Team Leader or Manager, electrical diagrams, laptop, manuals, etc. determine on the most effective way to solve the failure.
If interference from incorrect operation by operator, it is accepted by the Service Engineer instructed in proper use.
Repair of replacement parts, by the Maintenance Warehouse to retrieve, or themselves make or repair by turning and milling machines etc.
Components not in stock, self-ordering by Technical purchaser.
For faults in the PLC equipment or provide minor repairs or adjustments in the PLC software can be implemented independently, or through the Manager / Team Leader enable internal or external specialist.
If necessary, the Service Engineer will re-adjust the production machinery after repair.
If a failure can not be addressed is through the Team Leader / Manager, internal or external support will be enabled.
Maintenance
While troubleshooting the Service Engineer will also inspect on machinery or plant parts to wear, as may be V-strings, loose bolts / nuts, switches etc.
In acute cases, the almost failure will be resolves in situ, if necessary by the Manager in consultation with Production Manager on or Foreman they determine when periodic maintenance / overhaul can be done / or should done.
Assisting operators in the provision of 1st line maintenance in the context of TPM.
Performing scheduled maintenance and preventive maintenance.
Reporting
Creating work orders and process failures dissolved in a failure report to maintenance and repair history of the machine mapping.
Complexity / powers
Receives orders from Head Maintenance / Team Leader or directly through the malfunctioning phone.
Works on the basis of drawings, diagrams, manuals, BS standards, regulations.
Determines the most efficient way to try to correct. Looking for alternatives when problems difficult to be resolve. As in the night shift he has to make decisions on how to repair production machinery as quickly as possible. Consult with Manager / Team Leader when a specialist should be invoked.
Responsibility
- Quick and efficient resolution of interference;
- Consult properly maintained;
- Preparation of complete failure reports;
- Compliance with safety, health, safety and quality requirements.
Communications with:
- Manager / Team Leader to receive assignments, discuss possible solutions to repair, to ordering parts;
- Operators / Supervisors of various production and / or assembly lines in the discussion of interference;
- Specialists from third parties providing technical explanation of failure.
- Recording the nature of failures and repair fault / repair records.

Crafts
- Use hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, spanners, drilling, grinding, etc. at the (de) mounting of production may be difficult to reach places;
- Control of conventional turning and milling machines for creating and editing parts with a tolerance of 0.01 mm;
- Use of measurement tools such as frequency meter, multi meter, etc.;
