Work Schedule: M to F, 9 to 5
Description of Position:
Oversees the IP Surgical Care, Ortho-Neuro, Ortho-Spine, Dialysis, IP Oncology, Medical Sugical, and Medical/Cardiac Units. Operational fiscal responsibility, while maintaining staff, and delivering quality care to customers. Fosters a positive work environment, encouraging an interdisciplinary decision making process at the unit team level. Builds solid relationships within the community.
Responsibilities:
(1) Develop a "Standards of Care" Lifecycle, compliant with CMS, National, Joint Commission, and EMTALA standards,
(2) Verification of compliance by all licensed professionals employed by the hospital with the State Board of Nursing,
(3) Develops Quality Standards of Nursing Practice and provides maintenance for these standards,
(4) Spear-heads a continual review process to minimize costs by analyzing evidence-based physician orders,
(5) Implement strategies in collaboration with physician leaders,
(6) Work closely with CNO to meet health system score card goals,
(7) To be the Clinical Advisor to the Hospital Nursing Student Programs, to develop agreements for the educational use of Hospital facilities, &
(8) Organize unit based councils to focus on value added activities using Lean concepts.

| Habilidades: |
Requirements:
(1) 5- to 7-years of proven Operational/Administrative Leadership Experience,
(2) Strong track record of achievements,
(3) Able to demonstrate personal effectiveness within company accomplishments,
(4) ANCC Certification in an area of specialty, &
(5) BSN, MSN, or MBA degree required.
