World Recruitment Office is proud to offer an opportunity for a Network Systems Engineer to join a leading consultancy Company, this opportunity is offering fantastic reward and based in Nicosia
The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate an ability for high quality deliverables working as part of a team of specialists, to often tight deadlines. An ability and willingness to travel within and outside Cyprus is a must as are strong references (academic and professional).
The role assumes a minimum of two years experience in a similar capacity within an IT environment. It is expected that the chosen professionals will be able to demonstrate an understanding of security and networking technologies, and work to often tight deadlines, across numerous simultaneous projects, in a very dynamic environment. The key qualifications and characteristics of the positions are described below:
Key qualifications / skills:
o Understanding of the technical security implications and needs for
o Windows NT/2000/2003/XP, Linux, Solaris operating systems
o Good understanding of networking design principles and protocols (e.g.
o TCP/IP, IPv4 and preferably IPv6)
o Good understanding of Layer 2, Layer 3 and Layer 4-7 networking
o concepts
o In-depth understanding of IP routing principles and protocols
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills
o Ability to deliver high quality and client focused deliverables
o Proficiency in written and oral English
o Hands-on experience in implementation and operation of routers,
o switches, MS Active Directory, Exchange and IP telephony technologies
o Certifications of CISCO and Microsoft (W2K3, AD and Exchange products) or other related technologies will be considered a significant advantage
