The Payroll Tax Analyst will be assigned to Accenture clients as appropriate and will prepare accurate, timely payroll tax filings and remittances as well as handle issues arising from clients and tax jurisdictions that are within their scope of responsibilities. They will perform additional department support functions including reconciling data, performing research, keeping current on applicable tax matters, and ensuring proper retention of relevant documentation – returns, workpapers, etc
Minimum 2 years experience processing payroll taxes OR
Bachelors Degree in Accounting without practical work experience in payroll tax. |
| Habilidades: |
• Prepare and file accurate, timely payroll tax filings and remittances.
• Handle issues arising from clients and tax jurisdictions within their scope of authority and responsibility.
• Prepare documentation on remittances for proper posting to GL accounts.
• Maintain currency in tax laws, rules, regulations and client businesses.
• Maintain current jurisdiction and related information for their clients..
• Reconcile taxes reported and remitted to taxes withheld or accrued on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Perform research on unresolved or uncertain tax matters.
• Perform special projects assigned by Tax Manager or Director.
• Ensure proper retention of relevant documentation -- returns, workpapers, etc.
• Assist with compliance audits performed by tax jurisdictions.
• Assist in the training new tax department personnel.
