Programs in Canada
Under these programs the candidate comes to Canada on a temporary visa / student permit but subsequently gets a work permit to work as part of co-op program and get paid). On successful completion you get a diploma. You can join for 1 year or 2 years. The course is 50% theory and 50% co-op work. Study is in class and online.
Subject Matter:
• Human Resource in Hospitality and
Tourism Management
• Marketing in Hospitality and Tourism
Management
• Managerial Accounting for the
Hospitality Industry
• Revenue and Cost Management for the
Hospitality Industry
Upon completion of the Hospitality and Tourism Management program, students will learn the most essential managerial,
communication, and leadership skills needed in this industry today. Furthermore, upon completion of the course requirements,
graduates will be prepared for entry‐level, management trainee and junior management positions in such areas as:
• Convention/Conference Centers
• Hotel industry
• Tourism operations
• Tourist attractions

10. Fly to Canada on Approval
Documents usually required
1. Passport valid for at least 6 months
beyond program completion date.
2. Proof of education.
3. Proof of experience.
4. Passport size photographs
5. Resume / CV with picture
Salary: Usually $8-$12 per hour
Housing (may not be provided, but
assistance will be there): Around
$550 per month
Utilities (Electric/ Water/ Gas etc.):
Usually about $150 per month
Groceries/Food: Usually about $300-
$400 per month
Transportation: About $100 per month |
