We are looking for an inside salesperson for B2B sales.
Jingle Direct, the leader in crafting commercial jingles to the small business market, is poised for phenomenal growth in 2009 and beyond, and needs the right sales team to help accomplish our goals. If you are a self-managed sales professional, this is a great opportunity for you. Our corporate culture is very results-oriented and thrives on an entrepreneurial spirit. This position reports directly to the VP of Sales & Marketing.
Each day, you will make calls to set appointments with potential clients. You must be comfortable making daily demo appointments, then following up at the required appointment time to complete the demo and close the sale. You will be responsible for updating and growing the leads database, calling/contacting leads, developing new contacts, and helping drive revenue by setting demo appointments with new potential customers.
You will receive hands-on training with all necessary supporting sales materials. Pay will be commission-only (uncapped). Pay will also include additional bonus program incentives if you exceed performance standards and quotas.

• Ability to take a call script and tailor it to your own style to maximize effectiveness
• Ability to leave what you know about sales behind; in order to learn new techniques that are extremely effective for our service
• A self-motivated, goal-oriented go-getter with a “sales hunter” mentality
• Ability to listen and interpret the needs of the customer
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a clear and professional phone voice
• Comfortable making large number of calls per day to set appointments for demos, then actually doing the demo
• Must be able to adapt to each call and choose the best responses for each situation
• Not afraid of “No”
• Knowledge of personal computer operation and software applications (i.e. Microsoft Office)
• Must be reliable and have high personal integrity.
• Excellent time management skills
• Must be assertive, aggressive and persistent
• Able to start immediately
• HS diploma required, some college experience preferred
• At least 1 year of sales experience, B2B preferred but not required |
