The position is responsible to supervise staff involved in the development of new or maintenance of existing IT
Systems and monitor the various phases of applications systems analysis, development, coordination,
Primary Work Responsibility:
Supervises technical personnel involved in the development of new and/or maintenance and operation of
- Supervises multiple business and/or computer applications through development and support phases and initiate
- Evaluates overall and individual work performance to determine effectiveness in providing quality products within time and cost restraints.
- Prepares or reviews written and oral reports of proposed information technology systems and directs applications systems planning and budgeting.
- Develops analysis and programming guidelines and documentation standards.
- Evaluates and makes recommendations for needed training
- Resolves the most difficult computer applications related problems;.
- Prepares long- and short-term strategic plans concerning information technology for the division and/or department
- Writes periodic progress, project status and problems resolution reports regarding information technology for management review.
- Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless end-user service.
Minimum Requirement:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science
Project Management certification
At least 10 years experience including minimum 3 years in Project Management
Must be proficient with Oracle 10g, 6i, 9i & 10i
Must have proven skills in trouble shooting, system analysis, design
Must have good communication skills along with effective team handling and supervisory skills |
