Job Functions:
Thoroughly and properly clean and vacuum all assigned rooms daily
Respond to and resolve guest and/or employee complaints in a timely manner
Contribute to a positive, empowering work environment by setting an example and consistency of day to day work habits
Support the room inspection program designed for Guest Room Attendants, Floor Supervisors, Executive Housekeepers and Assistant Executive Housekeepers
Responsible for all aspects of the room assignment: keys, cleaning chemicals, linens, documentation
Utilize a pre-loaded cart with all cleaning supplies and linen
Complete daily worksheets accurately as required
General cleaning of all assigned guestrooms:
Dust and clean all furniture, picture frames, mirrors, windows, baseboards, carpet edges, inside and outside door panels, door ledges, and thresholds
Clean and vacuum under beds, desk, gaming tables, and behind night stands
Check and replace all missing items in rooms For Example: hangers, clocks, ice bucket liners, hair dryers, brochures, and stationery, etc
Clean and ensure bathtubs, tub ledges, sinks, vanity shelves, toilets, bathroom scales, tissue box covers, and soap dishes are spot and dust free
Sweep and mop all bathroom floors
Dust all lights and sconces, make-up mirrors, and lampshades
Follow the guidelines for rejecting linen and terry consistent with the department program
Use supplies responsibly, not wasting products or throwing away unused portions of cleaning products
Notify the Supervisor or Asst Exec of any items in the guest rooms or hallways needed repair or further attention for cleaning
Conduct proper Room Check to determine the status of the rooms and notify the supervisor of the status
All rooms are provided with turndown service nightly, to further enhance the guest experience
Keep stairwell exits clean and free from debris
Be knowledgeable of Hotel information to answer guest inquiries

Required:
Previous cleaning experience
Knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies, and chemicals used
Professional appearance and demeanor
Preferred:
Familiarity with Green Initiatives and/or LEED programs
Experience in a large hotel environment
Gaming hospitality experience
