Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor`s degree in Finance or Accounting (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
Strong cost accounting/analysis experience
3+ years of cost accounting experience within manufacturing
Experience using an ERP System
Ability to interpret financial information for management-reporting purposes
Day to Day Responsiblity:
The Cost Accountant will have responsibility for supporting all finance and accounting activities
Be responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of manufacturing cost performance
Monitor all inventory
Monitor the weekly cycle counting process
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Be responsible for forecasting and modeling of the manufacturing process, cost, and standard margin analysis
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual management reports
Prepare additional analysis at the request of the Controller.
Location: Panorama City, California.
