Project Senior Accountant
B.A. Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. CPA is a plus.
A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience.
Professional knowledge of accounting practices, budgets, Zakat, financial reports and financial reporting processes. - Professional knowledge of GAAP and major accounting rules and regulations.

Compiling and summarizing financial transactions and events. Preparing various financial statements, reports and reconciliation. Monitoring expenses, revenue, costs and other financial indicators and contributes to the analysis of data and trends. Preparing periodical reports and contributing to the improvement of the accounting function. Recording and preparing daily entries for all suppliers’ invoices, keeping and following up the debts and credits accounts on a daily basis, and preparing monthly bank reconciliation. Verifying and calculating all purchasing invoices and submitting payments at suppliers’ accounts after checking their accuracy and conducting fixed assets verification. Performing reconciliations; accruing and recording interest receivable and payable; preparing standard quarterly and annual financial statements and reports. Following up with sections within the project and clients regarding issues related to financial and accounting practices, agreements and procedures. Handling accounts payables and accounts receivable, and supervising general ledger accounting according to the generally accepted accounting principles. Conducting follow up on the daily cash flows and checking their accuracy and ensuring that every entry has been entered correctly. Following up on receiving all cash receipts on daily basis and reconciling against bank deposits. Analyzing payroll account monthly basis and making sure that cash are submitted at their bank accounts. Supporting the weekly and monthly financial closing activities and ensuring deadlines are met with compliance to all statutory requirements. Identifying, reporting, testing, resolving and implementing financial system problems, enhancements, and upgrades. Preparing periodic reports with respect to the accounting section activities and achievements to be submitted to the Project Manager. Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the Project Manager.
