Gobal Business Development Manager
Our client is a highly respected mulit-national chemical vendor. They have an immediate opening for a Global Business Development Manager at its corporate facility located in EU. In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for driving, developing, and managing large global accounts. This position will also be responsible for the management and mentoring of subordinate account managers.
The company is a world leader in the production of specialty chemical products focused on solving oilfield problems related to the production of crude oil and natural gas.
Summary Of Job Duties:
Designs & develops business strategies and processes to increase company revenues and profitability in the assigned Global account
Develop global account business plan for assigned account
Maintains and develops a customer and prospect database.
Develops expert knowledge of customer/market requirements, customer trends and competitor activities through market research and close contact with key customers and local Company personnel.
Maintains industry contacts with engineering firms to collect knowledge on latest technology
Designs & executes a call cycle to establish relationships with Key customer Commercial and Technical Decision Makers
Qualifies prospects using agreed prioritization tools, develops strategic plans for each accepted project.
Attends training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
Plans and manages development of presentations related to specific proposals or to general business development (customer presentations, trade show presentations, etc.)
Prepares & circulates Visit Reports after every customer contact
Fosters teamwork and a team environment
Promotes health, safety, and environmental initiatives

Required Skills/Experience:
Must have at least 7 years of industry sales experience with a proven track record for cultivating large accounts.
Must have demonstrated track record in working with major multi-national oil and gas entities.
Must have at least 3 years of technical experience involving specialty chemicals
Exceptional presentation and communication skills (written and oral)
Must be able to engage and communicate with different levels of the organization
Must be a able to lead a team of sales professionals as well as be a team player
Service and completion industry experience preferred
International businesses experience a plus.
Minimum Experience: 8 years
