B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
Five(5) years in deign and engineering works in a hi-rise building construction.
Knowledge in codes, standards, regulations and practices applicable to design and construction. Professional knowledge in materials used in construction and in construction methods and procedures.
Systematic thinking and analytical skills, Decision making and problem solving abilities, Follow-up and monitoring skills, Planning and organizing skills, Ability to perform Risk Analysis, Coordination Skills, Dependability and Good Computer Skills.
Prepare design of all electrical system requirements and related calculations, evaluating tenders and designs and specifying requirements of materials to be used in construction in alignment with the specified standards and building codes, in addition to approving sub contractors work and supervising staff and projects` progress to ensure that all activities are being run in compliance with specifications and contractual requirements. Participating in implementing and transforming policies, goals and plans into medium and short-term plans to ensure internal work development and productivity increase. Participating in the development of the section’s work plan; distributing and following-up on work activities, projects and programs, monitoring work flow and reviewing work methods and procedures. Suggesting plans and programs that strive to boost the effectiveness of the section. Conducting periodic meetings with subordinates to ensure that priorities are clear and actions are running smoothly. Responsible for design calculations and design drawings. Responsible for production of shop drawing. Responsible for Electrical design evaluations, VE, shop drawings and preparation of reports. Review /supervise and monitoring of CAD operators. Specifying manpower requirements according to recruitment and selection and human resources planning practices. Nominating a deputy to carry out the responsibility of the position whenever the need arises. Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the Section Head.
