For one of our customer, we are currently looking for Site Design Engineer “European Citizen Only”
Consultancy
Starting date: ASAP
3 Months renewable
Language skills: French, Dutch and English is a must.
Location of activities: Brussel
Profile of the vacancy:
The Site design engineer drives the Site Build process within NRO by coordinating all activities on customer sites from beginning till acceptance.
Roles & Responsibilities
The Site Design Engineer is responsible for, but not limited to:
Own the internal process documents for build related activities within NRO (Process owners)
Collect and analyze technical site documents
Prepare RFQ’s based on the agreed production plans
Create SoW, in cooperation with Site Engineering and Sourcing
Analyze the received quotation
Give recommendations to operation and sourcing based on the analyzes made
Start negotiations with subcontractors based on the received quotations/bill of materials
Material forecast based on the sites in RFQ
Negotiate extra costs with the customer
Make sure that each extra work is covered with sales
Handle the sites in such a way that a positive margin is generated
Coordinate and drive technical changes imposed by client
Calculate impact that technical changes can have on an operational and financial point of view
Make sure that each subcontractor receives technical updates
Give technical assistance to Site Engineers
Authorities:
Site design engineers have the authority to:
Evaluate the quotations and recommend the most efficient cost strategy
Issue purchase order creation
