Description:
•The Head of Engineering System is in charge of running, integrating and controlling the Engineering execution process, considering the necessary information requested to carry out the task.
•The Head of Engineering System is in charge of all technical aspects and results provided by his/her team.
The Head of Engineering System is responsible, within the clients Hydro policies, procedures and interests, for the following activities:
•Manages all technical aspects with possible support of Principal Engineers and Experts. Responsible for all the technical issues inside his/her team in accordance to the with Global Functions and best practices.
•Supports as a solution provider the project managers, so that his/her team can act and balance needs and requests coming from the projects.
•Tendering Support : the Engineering Manager works in coordination with Technical Tendering Manager for validating workload on tender phase and providing feedback of experience from engineering execution.
•Performance Management : he/she monitors, and reports, the necessary key performances indicators (KPI). The Engineering Manager participates on all necessary actions to guarantee financial as well as time, quality and EHS performance on the highest level.
•Quality Management : Support NCR`s (non-conformity reports) mitigation. Provide feedback to other concerned activities and engineering team. Ensure actions are taken into account by the team.
•People Management : In conjunction with Engineering Director, he/she builds, develops and coaches a committed engineering team that guarantees the highest level performance for the functions. He/she performs in line with the clients HYDRO HR rules, processes and tools, people evaluations, defines development plans and provides this input to the local management.
•Strategy execution : based on the defined global strategies as well as through the Global Functions he/she deploy and ensure the actions implementation locally.
Requirements:
•Very Good operational experience in engineering (automation) expertise.
•Successful leadership experience in a global and multi functional environment
•Contracting, planning and scheduling
•Construction and site experience
•Excellent know-how in the field of automation engineering
•Good know-how in the field of Hydro Products or excellent Know-how in industrial products
•Excellent understanding and ability of integrating processes on the operational level
•University degree in engineering or similar qualification.
•Excellent practice of French language
•Good know-how of French work legislation
