Description of work
Commercial office
- Coordinate, organize and track prototype orders as to time be delivered to the customer;
- Monitoring of customer calls via the EDI system and monitor progress of the order;
- review of contracts under applicable norms and standards and Sales Manager advise on modification or acceptance;
- track outstanding invoices (debtors control);
- claims control and if possible resolution;
- register and up-to-date on customer;
- Record prices and forecasts in the computerized system;
- Collecting data for Sales Engineers for the preparation of tenders;
- Keeping the cost database;
- Prepare purchase requests.
Reporting
- Analyzing and reporting on delivery performance prototypes;
- Periodic reporting of revenues based on data from the computerized system;
- Regular reporting of customer satisfaction.
Crafts
- Working with a PC;
- Working with various office equipment.
Complexity/competence
Officer works independently on assigned tasks where priorities are often determined by customer or course work. Officer is bound by rules, procedures and instructions and also receives commands from Sales Manager and Sales Engineers.
Responsibilities
- The accuracy and completeness of data on sales (prices, forecasts, customer, etc.) in the computerized
System;
- Coordination and monitoring of the prototype shipping route;
- Providing timely and accurate reports;
- Compliance with quality, safety, environmental, health and safety rules and procedures.
Communication
- With customers on deliveries;
- With management on progress and quality of work, reporting on sales, prototypes, delivery performance prototypes etc.;
- Sales Engineers on costs, prepare bids or purchase requests, differences in
Demand levels, payment problems, complaints from customers;
- Planning & Logistics with regard deliveries.
Expression skills in foreign languages
English and German or English and French language is required by the / it:
- And questions of information;
- Discussing the situation with the parent type and the customer;
- Report on various matters;
- Conduct consultations with management and Sales Engineers;
- Conducting interviews with clients on various matters.
