Our client is looking for an experienced and qualified Safety Advisor . HSE Cert, HUET Cert, Survival Cert.
Safety Advisor to work offshore with ad hoc activities onshore e.g project away days. Contribute to development of daily / monthly reports, inductions and away days. Provide HSE advise on on and offshore management and monitor compliance with HSE Management systems and procedures.
Key aims and objectives:
Maintain currency with all project HS&E procedures. Advise platform management as required on adherence to said procedures.
To monitor platform HS&E policies, procedures and practices to ensure compliance with company and legal requirements.
Prime Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Ensuring quality and compliance with the incident management process. Participating in incident investigations so that the root causes are fully understood, communicated and effective actions implemented to prevent recurrence. Advise and coach platform personnel in order to raise awareness of existing and new HS&E initiatives, procedures and legislation.
Provide safety training in line with processes and procedures.
Assist Platform Safety Representatives to develop and perform role effectively,
including making facilities available to them as required. Maintenance and administration of HS&E performance data, including the update of leading and lagging indicators on a daily basis. Ensure that a copy of the SAF database is made available to the workforce on a weekly basis and also forwarded to HS&E team leader. Review all SAF and feedback to workforce any comments quality of and commissions I areas for improvements.
Other requirements of the role
Participate in daily (morning and evening) safety huddles and ensure any relevant safety information is disseminated including information supplied by onshore project management and HS&E dept. Participate in daily management calls to onshore. Participate in daily planning meeting as required, support safety meetings and daily briefings. Liaise with HS&E team leader on a daily basis Monday to Friday. dvise HS&E Team Leader of all incidents at earliest opportunity.
