URGENT
Please note this position is on an offshore oil rig not a warehouse therefore the relevent exp. is required
Our client is looking for an experienced and qualified Logistics Supervisor (Offshore oil rig) HSE Cert, Survival Cert and HUET Cert.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
• The Offshore logistics supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day on site planning and execution of logistics activities, maintaining maximum HSE and operational efficiency.
• He is responsible for implementation of all the company`s policies, procedures and guidelines on logistics operations, safety and environmental protection.
• He is responsible for ordering loading and back loading all materials and equipment in time while minimizing rental costs.
• He will order the materials directly (via a SAP terminal offshore).
• He is responsible for the stock control on the rig.
• He is responsible for the day-to-day cost monitoring and liaise directly with the office based cost engineer on any issues relating to cost.
• He will optimize the supply boat and helicopter schedule together with the company Logistics Base Supervisor.
Main challenges for this position are:
• Ensure the level of HSE management is at an acceptable level from the start of operations will be a major challenge.
• Optimize logistics and ensure no downtime during concurrent operations, which could involve periods that boats cannot unload due to flaring operations. Skills
• A logistics professional with drilling, operations and equipment experience.
• A good planner with experience in all MS office applications incl. MS project.
• A good understanding of the technical limit approach and a genuine belief that rDTL can have a major impact, and be prepared to challenge the existing mindset.
• Creative and enthusiastic with a strong team spirit, who thrives under tough circumstances.
• Ability of working in a multi-cultural environment.
• Experience with SAP is a Major advantage.
• Previous experience as well engineer or driller is an advantage.
