Position Description:

research associate you will be directly involved in gathering, analyzing and producing comprehensive intelligence that will impact the way our clients run their business.

• Researching growing and dynamic capital markets across the globe.
• Speaking with leading executives who award $100 Billion in transaction fees each year
• Presenting tangible results to banking and company executives

• Traveling to off-site presentations, client meetings, and sale pitches.
• Taking on leadership and management responsibilities
Research Associate Responsibilities:
As valuable members of the First Intelligence Corporation Team, Research Associates are responsible for researching capital market transactions and their underlying relationships on a global scale using an
investigative journalistic approach to research open and closed sources of intelligence. Typical duties include:
• Interviewing company executives on their capital market transactions
• Searching First Intelligence Corporation’s proprietary in-house research repository/library for relevant data.
• Using financial, regulatory, and public documents to find key data.
• Write and prepare comprehensive research reports. Examples include:
o Writing in-depth case study analyses
o Providing insightful market analyses to explain trends and support accompanying
market figures
o Writing in-depth competitive analyses based on primary and secondary research
o Illustrating key market trends with graphs
o Drawing hypotheses on potential competitive strategies in these markets
• Perform customized consulting projects. These projects are specifically requested by clients and can include many unique tasks. Some examples include:
o Identifying the market positioning and potential for clients in various regions
o Assisting in the marketing, targeting and planning of resource allocation.
o Analyzing qualitative and quantitative trends in various industry sectors
o Performing specialized research by industry sector or geographic region
o Market/industry sizing and trend analysis
o Professional performance reviews
o Refining sales strategies and new business development efforts.

| Habilidades: |
Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree with a proven record of academic success (any discipline) or
equivalent related experience. Priority will be given to candidates who hold a Masters or
a PhD Degree.
• Highly motivated, self-directed & possess a driven personality capable of working within
tight deadlines
• Superior organizational skills, unflagging attention to detail & demonstrated commitment
to the accuracy and completeness of information
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Strong initiative and proven leadership capabilities
• Strong Sales ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft office programs.
• Fluency in 2nd language is an asset but not mandatory (any European or Asian language)
• Knowledge of the financial industry is an asset but not mandatory
