Location: Dubai
As Senior Bridge Design Engineer for the UAE, you will fulfill a senior role within the Bridges Department, providing leadership and mentoring to Team members on a number of projects.
You will have high ethical standards and Client focus attitude, coupled with excellent technical experience and confidence in the delivery of concept and detailed design of bridges. You will have the following attributes:
Hands on experience on bridges computer modelling techniques and software
Hands on experience on international detailed design standards for bridges
Ability to carry out concept and detailed of bridges of different structural forms and construction materials
Proactive when liaising when clients, design and construction teams
Ability to assist Project Managers and Principal Engineers with coordinating resource requirements, monitoring and controlling projects costs and invoicing.
Education /Minimum Qualifications
Successful completion of a relevant engineering degree in an appropriate discipline from a recognised Tertiary Institution with minimum 15 years postgraduate experience in design
Minimum 5 years post Corporate Membership experience in planning, design, contract and construction services.
Experience in working within:
- Industry Statutory organisation or consulting industry in a design and construct and tendered design services environment
- Field Supervision of structural design including application of design standards, managing specialist sub consultants, and complex project delivery methods.
