My client is looking for the accounting manager.
Main Responsibilities
• Maintain an accurate set of books by ensuring that all entries, financial transactions, prepayments, accruals, Fixed Assets, Liabilities and Income are correctly recorded
• Monitor and control payroll transactions of the staff
• Preparation of monthly management report with complete information and necessary explanation of variance
• Liaisons with bank and other banking activities like LC,LG & Bank Loan etc.
• Periodical preparation & verification of Bank reconciliation
• Continuous Follow up with the customer outstanding
• Responsible for monthly closing of accounts for corporate reporting
• Coordinating with Internal as well as External auditors for finalizing accounts
• Organizing Board of directors meeting
• Approve and Coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information system of the company
• Setting up the Financial policy and procedures
Skills
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role.
• Master Degree or Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports and statements.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English
• Excellent computer skills (Ms office Word, Excel & Power Point)
• Ability to work in a high pressure and stress situation
It is 1 year extendable position based in West Africa.
