Job Title: Regional Manager
Main Function: The position is responsible for developing a new market region while the main goal is to retrieve new suppliers between the regional farmers and textile factories. The representative will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with accounts, including the handling of logistics, accounting, and other customer related issues. As an intermediate member of the merchandising team, this position requires a higher level of strategic thinking, market knowledge and employee development than an entry-level position.

Description Of Work Performed:
Develops a clear understanding of local, national & world markets & trends
Develops good understanding of local plant operations
Effectively use communication channels for proper coordination within the office & other locations
Ready to relocate in order to develop a new market field for our company
Ensures the most cost efficient transportation and logistics
Is able to prepare & analyze basic profit & loss and other divisional month end reports
Strategically seeks out new business that would profitably enhance company assets
Builds & maintains relationships with a wide range of customers, including premium and volume accounts
Understands customer requirements in order to collaborate and add value to both companies
Is able to prepare & present reports to management detailing customer issues & opportunities
Price discovery and bid/offer maintenance to enhance risk management and pricing
Understanding of margin calculations & their effect on commodity pricing
Knowledge & Skills:
A diploma is in agriculture or business in agriculture or business (i.E. Economics, finance, accounting), supplemented with a minimum of two (2) years experience in the marketing of commodities and related food. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Proven ability to assess risk and exercise sound judgment in making decisions. Demonstrated negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the domestic & international trade. Proven ability to manage effectively within a team based work environment. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with end-users, suppliers, and internal customers. Computer competent, with demonstrated ability in the use of spreadsheet, database, and word processing software. Applications within a windows based operating environment. Individual must be committed to corporate ethics policies & safety programs.
Languages:
Arabic – is a serious advantage
English – obligatory (good level)
Salary:
