Please… no designers, no commercial or hi rise builders, no industrial or water/wastewater builders, for sure, no residential builders. Heavy highway, bridges, rail/light rail, an occasional dam, lock or levee is OK. Minimum of project size of $100 million or more.

Proficiency with all MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), AGTEK Take-off and Primavera Scheduling software.

General Summary
This position is responsible for developing accurate and timely large job estimates for both private and public sector works projects including the preparation of bid documents and the development of clearly written proposals and correspondence for jobs of more than $50 million to ensure we are a responsive bidder.
Essential Job Accountabilities
Manage estimate and estimating teams for jobs totaling more than $50 million.
Provide cost estimates for upcoming projects as well as analyze and compile data on each factor that may have an influence on cost, such as labor, materials, equipment requirements, location and any other cost affecting the project.
Review drawings and specifications and proposed project site conditions; record findings and solicit input from field operations and include in final project estimate.
Ensure the quantities “take-off” are accurate.
Present estimate/bid to Chief Estimator for review to ensure accuracy and completeness including assessing market opportunities, competition and owner relations.
Participate in estimate and bid review with Management.
Working independently or with an estimating team, undertakes mathematical calculations requiring advanced analytical processes, in order to ensure estimated costs are accurate.
Analyze, interpret and compare detailed and often inadequately defined information in order to make reliable and accurate conclusions.
Communicate estimate bid information to field operations at pre-construction meetings.

| Habilidades: |
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or equivalent related work experience.
Work Experience
8 or more years estimating experience
Prior Project Engineer and take-off experience
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
