Head of the Department Structure
- Reporting to the client’s management
- Reporting on department subjects, specialist project information to the General Management, sales & business development information sale management, strategy to the Managers, figures to the accounts department
- Summary of knowhow and the capacity for different areas of specialisation of the client its sister company and business partners on the subject of the department Structure:
o Appraisal of resources, power spectrum, references
o Determination of client needs (e.g. Airbus, or other aerospace clients)
o Gap Filling
- Execution of major projects within the subject department’s incl. responsibility for profit & loss
- Acquisition of major projects for the department Structure
- The Head of the department Structure plays a key role in business development
- Presentation of the department to middle management of potential clients
- Managing the temporarily reporting Project Leaders and Architects within the department
Provide information and reports to Marketing & Sales Management and Reporting project progress to Management Review
- Business development of major International projects and manage the of preparation of the offers
Requirements:
- A degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with focus on light engineering
- The candidate must be very experienced in the field of structural calculation and/or design of
o Non Specific Design Work (material testing, etc.) and
o Specific Design Work (component development of supporting aircraft structures constructed of metal, carbon fiber or reinforced synthetic materials) within aerospace industry
- Very experienced in keeping to schedules and managing major projects
- Experience in project management of design/development engineers (calculation and design), ideally in the field of aerospace
- Knowledge of the certification processes of aircraft structures
- Location: Munich
