Lead Mechanical Design Engineer

All applications will be treated confidentially.Responsibility:As the Lead Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for making design decisions and recommendations, both complementing and leading the already existing Mechanical Design team. This position requires strong leadership and Client facing skills as well as the ability to work with a team in a multi- disciplinary environment.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:
• Ability to prepare staffing schedules, project budget hours and work plans; interface with team members and management personnel to ensure a smooth execution of projects.
• Designing experience of tall towers, commercial, large mixed use developments, hospitality and residential projects.
• Using of computer software / analysis tools such as: ECODIAL 3.3, DIALUX and HEVACOMP.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70,72,101, British Standard BS7671, IEE Wiring regulations, ASHRAE, BICSI and EIA/TIA codes and standards.
• Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal.Qualification:BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, 15+ year’s experience. Membership of a professional Engineering is essential. E.G.: Chartered Engineer or PE.
