| Descripción del empleo: |
a. Pay scheduled field visits to cover all activities and operations, study employees’ health condition and evaluate the case management, liaison with concerned internal, external departments and agencies. Act as focal point for all occupational health matters
b. Maintain and review employee health records to ensure continuity of care, timely feedbacks on major issues such as insurance notifications or regular sick leaves. Etc, compliance with company policies and applicable Codes of Practice/Ethics.
c. Coordinates and assist in reviewing and monitoring periodic medical examinations, return to work assessments, fitness for duty assessments
d. Monitor field based employees with high risk medical conditions (viral hepatitis, coronary heart diseases, diabetes, etc)
e. Perform worksite walk-through assessments for specific cases, to determine employee work processes and potential sources for illness and injury.
f. Identify industrial illnesses / injury for Occupational illness Reporting for Annual HSE Letter and Management review meetings.
g. Plan, organize and Implement the Health education / awareness programs / health campaigns effectively in coordination with other divisions and departments.
h. Use epidemiological methods to define and monitor the health needs of company employees
i. Contribute to the plan of health controls and surveillance of actual and potential toxic or hazardous conditions in the work environment
j. Provide individual counseling sessions to employees on health maintenance
k. Participate in occupational health research programs
l. Participate in continuing education to update knowledge of occupational health including HAAD, MOH and legal regulations applicable to OH
m. Coordinate patient care and activities of the company first aid /emergency response care Unit to ensure that services for the employees are carried out according to contracts, policies and procedures.
n. Prepare, maintain, review and update OHS manual of operation containing applicable protocols, policies procedures and information a for patent care and consulting activities
o. Prepare periodical reports and analyze to include setting forth progress adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
p. Contribute to the design of health controls and surveillance relative to toxic or hazardous conditions in the work environment
Daily contacts with HSSEQ staff. Frequent contact with other divisions and departments, field administration and field manager. Occasional contacts with external specialists/ consultants on employees’ occupational health matters.

| Habilidades: |
a. Medical Degree or equivalent plus Diploma in Occupational Medicine preferable
b. 5 years experience in one or more of the medical disciplines, 3 of which should have been as a medical officer in an oil company and 2 years in senior supervisory capacity
c. Various admin competency courses
d. Valid license to practice medicine in UAE
e. Very good knowledge of English and Arabic
f. Valid UAE Driving License
