All applications will be treated confidentially.Requirements:The Head of Architecture will manage the development and growth of the firm’s architecture department, having specific overall management responsibility for all operational matters within the architectural department and for providing technical and design leadership to all architectural and design disciplines.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:
• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and to supervise and mentor staff.
• Planning and managing projects through all phases of the project ‘life span’.
• Developing and maintaining professional and meaningful Client relationships.
• Managing the technical direction of the department, ensuring the timely and cost effective delivery of quality projects.
• Experienced in the design and production of large complex commercial projects.
• Demonstrates excellent communications and time management skills.
Qualification:BA in Architecture and membership of AIA or RIBA. MA in Architecture would be preferred.
Experience:Prior experience in the Gulf Region would be advantageous but not estential.
Minimum of 15 years experience (consiting of 12 years site based & 3 years design).
High-rise building experience
Design review ability
Proposal Writing skills
