Descripción del empleo: We are currently seeking an experienced Credit & Collection Analyst with experience in business to business collections and credit preparation for our Buenos Aires office.

Duties
The candidate will be responsible for contacting Debtors to bring their accounts current while using professionalism and tact. Responsible for meeting assigned production standards by collecting delinquent payments and by arranging payment plans over the phone. Achieve numeric standards for servicing past-due accounts without sacrificing quality of service.



Job Summary:
The person in this position requires daily communication with customers in regards to the accounts receivable balance on their account. The position is also responsible for all collection efforts and follow-up needed to collect debt owed to Bally Technologies

Essential Duties AND Responsibilities:
• Performs outgoing collection requests including phone calls, letters and legal action if necessary
• Performs account reconciliations and analysis as deemed necessary
• Creates invoices and statements per customer’s request
• Compiles status reports to senior management concerning accounts with balances due in a given quarter
• Reviews and maintains the status of customer orders put on hold
• Continually reviews and resolves issues with customers and internal sales staff
• Manages and reviews high dollar exposure accounts in the financial systems
• Prepares reports and recommends appropriate actions on customer accounts and credit levels
• Enforces adherence to corporate collection policies and procedures
• Achieving performance and liquidation objectives
• Maintaining and collecting from an individual portfolio
• Skip tracing for assets and location information
• Adhering to policies and procedures


Habilidades: Training AND/OR Experience:
• Minimum three years experience in business to business collection experience.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Effective oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish
• Strong numeric aptitude, problem solving and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and negotiation skills
• Self-starter, ability to deliver difficult news diplomatically.
• Excellent telephone communication techniques
• Persuasive and professional communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to be assertive when reasoning and negotiating with customers and able to discuss and negotiate past due payment obligations and resolve customer disputes in a professional manner.
• Ability to meet goals and deadlines in a fast paced, highly successful environment
• Ability to apply fundamental accounting knowledge to daily transactions
• Ability to handle multiple assignments

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business related field (Accounting preferred) or equivalent experience

• Sedentary
