Our client is expanding and would like to recruit a dynamic, resourceful and experienced Product Specialist for Asia Pacific Region. Reporting to the Product Manager for Asia Pacific, the successful professional will be responsible for:
Responsibilities
•support the Product manager in Asia Pacific.
•Manage day-to-day product needs for the countries in Asia Pacific Region.
•All regulatory requirements identified, 100% checked.
•Track and report on emerging regulatory changes that might impact the client’s business.
•Create and maintain all the SDS (Safety Data Sheet) and labels of all finished (commercial) products including the specific country requirements.
•Ensure that all imports and exports of product have regulatory approval.
•Interact with governmental and non-governmental agencies (for eg. NSF, HALAL, etc.) on product registrations/certifications.
•Support the NPI (New Product Introduction) process for products and equipment to fulfill all country specific regulatory requirements.
•Ensure product involvement and review prior to new products being made at our plants and tollers.
•Ensure that all product changes are reviewed.
•Support customers and Field sales on products related to safety and environmental acceptability.
•Answer customer questions regarding regulatory issues related to products.
Requirements:
•bachelors degree in chemistry, biology, health science or environmental science.
•Minimum of five years industrial experience with product specialist and regulatory compliance.
•Knowledge and demonstrated experience with hazardous communication, MSDS and labeling.
•Fluent English and Chinese
