Job Overview:
A leading Pacific Northwest custom manufacturing company is looking for an Independent Contractor Sales Representative/Business Developer.
Candidate must have experience in selling custom manufacturing systems and products of one or more of the following; mining, oil & gas, materials handling, manufacturing and construction industries, and engineering firms serving those industries.
The representative will be responsible for meeting and/or exceeding the Company’s annual revenue and booking quota for the assigned territory and/or accounts.
The representative will report to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
Responsibilities:
• Consistently negotiates and closes new business.
• Helps develop and maintains effective business, sales and marketing plans for assigned territory and accounts.
• Solicits, visits and develops customer relationships at all levels of their organizations.
• Maintains contact with trade associations to promote the Company’s products, systems and services within the industries served.
• Properly forecasts monthly, quarterly and annual revenues numbers for assigned territory.
• Documents all sales contacts, activities and opportunities in the Company’s CRM System.
• Consistently maintains a reasonable number of weekly face-to-face prospect meetings.
• Provides constant feedback to Sales Management on the territory environment.
• Effectively demonstrates and presents the Company’s’ solutions to qualified prospects.
• Helps prepare and presents bids and quotations to customers using company price and delivery guidelines and uses sound business judgment to enhance margins.
• Manage expense allowances and submit expense reports in a timely manner.
Support total quality effort by:
• Providing timely and accurate information for order entry
• Elevate quality issues to the attention of management
• Ensure accurate and timely information flows to and from customer
• Collect and utilize market intelligence data on competitive companies and products

| Habilidades: |
Qualification Requirements:
• Three or more years of sales experience especially in custom fabrication
• Must have 4-year degree, preferably in mechanical engineering
• Knowledge of industries such as: mining, oil & gas, materials handling, construction, fabrication and with engineering firms serving those markets
• Able to travel 50% of the time
• Strongly motivated to meet deadlines
• Excellent at building and nurturing relationships with vendors, customers and internal staff.
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Able to effectively manage multiple projects, tight deadlines and fast-paced environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
